A yacht is a boat designed purely for pleasure – which just about sums up MIA RAMA. Her newly painted pale blue hull makes you think of sunny days and clear warm seas – so before you even step on board you are in the holiday mood… On deck, the same pale blue is found on her sun pads and cushions – an invitation to relax and enjoy yourself. That’s certainly easy on her oversized sun deck. Right forward the bar has outstanding views and you can always retreat to the shade of the masthead – a spot that is also a dining area for up to 20. (More intimate al fresco dining options can be found on both the aft upper and main decks.) Further aft the Jacuzzi beckons as do yet more sun loungers for those looking to boost their vitamin D. But even the keenest sun-seeker has to go inside at some point – the upper saloon is a welcoming spot: set under a large circular ceiling feature around a circular table, the friendly placement of curved sofas and chairs allows guest to simply chat or curl up and enjoy a film together. Here the pale blue of the exterior gives way to the pale neutral interiors, set off with some dramatic stripe-grained wood panelling that is a feature throughout. The main saloon also has striped carpet which reinforces the symmetry in this modern classic space. A low divider (from which a TV can emerge) separates the space from the dining area where an inlaid table is surrounded by soft ochre chairs. The guest accommodation is generous and practical: the master suite lies close to a twin room ideal for children; the VIP enjoys glorious isolation on the bridge deck; the lower deck doubles are large enough to include sofas.
