APOGEE studiously ignores the trend for minimalism and instead provides timless ultra-luxurious interiors. Mahogany and rosewood bring warmth and the feel of a stately home is further enhanced by detailed furnishings and artworks in gilt frames. Her large sky lounge is reminiscent of an exclusive club, with a very long, low onyx-topped bar with swivel leather armchairs. Further deep armchairs abound – but there is also a dancefloor, karaoke machine and Wurlitzer for some after-hours fun. The main saloon is much more formal – more like a traditional drawing room. On deck, however, this is clearly a modern charter yacht. There are ample spaces for enjoying a sunset cocktail – both the main and sun decks have outside bars. And of course, the upper aft deck has a long table for all the guests to dine al fresco in comfort.
