As you might expect from a Lürssen superyacht designed by Espen Øino, LADY KATHRYN V has bold and beautiful lines – this is clearly a big, classy yacht. Built by experienced superyacht owners who understand life on board, she works extremely well as a charter yacht. Her abundant outside spaces are well thought-out: the large sun deck is home to aJjacuzzi, bar and sun loungers as you’d hope, but she also has several small dining tables perfect for a sunny breakfast or evening cocktail. Steps lead up to a small hard top crow’s nest for some very private sunbathing… Lovely varnished wooden tables and deep cushions upholstered in blue and white stripes give a charming nautical theme to all the outside spaces. Sky blues also feature in the traditionally-styled interiors, where neutral tones keep things light and relaxing. The upper saloon and master suite have the similar feel of a fine country home, with blue and white plaids, antique-style chairs in dark woods and traditional flourishes such as the chandelier above the dining table or grand piano in the main saloon. A more modern influence is the fold-down balcony that enhances the master suite, which has many fine features including the marble bathroom with golden sinks and fittings.
