OVERVIEW
There are some superyachts that use a strong monochrome theme to emphasise light and space, while others prefer exquisite detailing and plush furnishings to accentuate the sense of luxury; ILLUSION V pulls off the clever trick of combing the two. Whether on deck or inside – the palest of soft furnishing are set against the darkest of polished surfaces, with elaborate panelling and the repetition of the white rose motif - on soft furnishings, as Lalique panels or carved onto bar fronts... ILLIUSION V certainly has the wow factor – this is a confident, unrestrained superyacht. The balance between indoor and outdoor spaces is cleverly achieved: on the sun deck a central enclosed fine dining room separates the forward Jacuzzi deck from the aft sun-bathing deck. Even down in the beach club, the styling follows the same smart, glamorous plan – but once more ILLUSION V plays a trick – using foot stools, opulent throws and a world-record breaking number of scatter cushions to prevent the décor from becoming stiff or formal. Her watertoys are equally as exuberant, with all the latest favourites such as slides, snuba, flyboards and a Jetovator. It is clear to see that ILLUSION V has got everything it takes to make an excellent charter yacht.
