BENETTI HISTORY
Founded in 1873 by Lorenzo Benetti, the shipyard quickly established a reputation for innovation and craftsmanship, launching over 30 vessels in its first decades, including schooners, cutters, and brigantines. By 1921, Benetti had built the Mediterranean’s largest sailing ship, St. George, now preserved in Milan. The post-war era saw a transformative shift from wood to steel, marked by the launch of its first luxury steel motor yacht in 1961, setting new standards in comfort, technology, and design. Benetti’s creations soon captured the attention of royalty, celebrities, and elite clientele, from Prince Rainier III and Grace Kelly to David Bowie. The 1979 launch of the 86-meter Nabila — the world’s first gigayacht — cemented its legendary status. Acquired by the Azimut | Benetti Group in 1985, the shipyard expanded its facilities and pioneered gigayacht production. Today Benetti remains synonymous with timeless Italian elegance and technical excellence at sea.
BENETTI PHILOSOPHY
Benetti’s shipyard philosophy revolves around the perfect blend of time-honored tradition and unrelenting innovation; the manufacture of custom luxury yachts which embody the character and tasteful sophistication of their owners. Central to this philosophy is the dedication to sustainable practices, which includes the use of hybrid techniques and eco-friendly solutions that can be seen in the B. Yond line. The shipyard strongly believes in working closely with each client in order to deliver a fully-customized yacht that offers a unique on-board experience and reflects a desire for a certain lifestyle at sea.

The 45M, with a steel hull and aluminum superstructure, stands out with the Veranda Deck that opens the main salon on three sides, creating a balcony effect. Her main deck includes an elegant pool, while the lower deck houses the beach club and tender garage. Both yachts offer extended-range cruising of up to 3,800–4,100nm.
