OVERVIEW
FORMOSA is a yacht designed for al fresco living, with four decks’ worth of outside spaces for wining, dining and lying down… She makes the most of her 60m to enjoy the great outdoors – the aft main deck has a lovely C-shaped range of sofas perfect for pre- or post-dinner drinks (some main aft decks lack such welcoming features.) As you might expect, the upper aft deck has a large dining table, and the sun deck has plenty of comfortable sofas and loungers – plus a large Jacuzzi and bar. As an added bonus - there is a small mast-head deck perfect for the real sun-lovers. Of course her interiors are lovely too, mainly monochrome with darks and neutrals – with odd splashes of blue as a nautical nod. Texture is used to enrich the clean, contemporary theme, plus some interesting features – such as the floor-patterned walkway that leads aft from the main saloon. Flanked by stone sculptures and walls, with floors resembling the raked gravel of a zen garden, this is just one of the Asian-flavoured touches seen. The sky lounge also doubles as the cinema room, with a bank of sofas facing the big screen – one of the few times the yacht’s interiors don’t refer outward: the master suite, right forward on the upper deck has tremendous views forward right from the bed, plus its own terrace. With a good little flotilla of watertoys plus PADI training centre status, FORMOSA can also delight you when you’re in the sea around her…
