JOY Yacht Charter

JOY is a unique yacht, not only because she’s the first whose exteriors were penned by Bannenberg and Rowell, but also because her owner was brand-new to superyacht ownership – so came with lots of fresh ideas, challenging the way things have always been done. She is striking and sharp, with angled overhangs on each deck, and has been designed to unify the indoor and outdoor areas. Both the main and upper (owner’s) deck have glass-sided wintergardens, that can be fully open to the deck, or closed up for air-conditioned control. Everywhere you look, glass windows and doors blend the zones of the yacht. JOY was also designed for those with young families in mind. The upper deck is home to the master suite as well as two ‘children’s VIP’ cabins. The stateroom looks out over a flat foredeck – known as the ‘games deck.’ With nets in place, it can be used for basketball, football, any kind of running around... The main deck also has a cluster of guest rooms – the VIP and two doubles, which could work for a second family grouping. Finally, the lower deck is home to one ‘nanny’s’ and one ‘child’s’ cabin. There are so many innovative touches, it’s a real delight to explore: the oversized lounger pads on the main deck aft open up to reveal access to the beach club below. A beach club that also doubles as a media/movie/games room – having huge video walls and piles of stripy bean-bags. Right at the very top, there is a small sundeck devoted to lounging, with a Jacuzzi, bar and grill so you might be tempted to spend all day up here.
