IMPROMPTU Yacht Charter

There is definitely nothing off-the-cuff about IMPROMPTU. Her layout is pretty conventional for a modern yacht: master suite forward on main deck, VIP suite on upper deck, guest cabins on lower deck. There is formal dining on the main deck, within the main saloon; but most meals will probably be taken on the excellent al fresco upper deck table – convivially circular… Yet there are touches which are uniquely IMPROMPTU. Perhaps we’ve come to expect a sun deck Jacuzzi on a yacht of this size, but as big as three metres’ squared? Wood panelling and inlay is used often, but rarely with this level of panache; the repeated use of squares and heavier, more solid furniture. Each cabin has its own personality in terms of décor, and the master suite’s walk-up forward observation area is a lovely touch. Another twist is the wine cellar – not found in a bar area, rather it curves temptingly around the staircase. The sky lounge is yet another success; marrying the usual components of corner sofa, bar and games table beautifully so you feel you are visiting a smart private club… Throughout the yacht individual works of art add yet another flourish. IMPROMPTU was not improvised, she was carefully designed so that guests can make their own last-minute decisions – wherever they choose to settle on board, they’re sure to have a wonderful time. If only all impromptu choices could turn out this well…
