Cost of Yacht Charters in Crete

Yacht charter prices in Crete vary depending on the type of yacht, duration of the charter, and the season. The busiest months - July and August - see the highest prices due to strong demand from those exploring the island and surrounding waters. However, the spring months (April and May) and early autumn (September and October) have more attractive rates, along with pleasant weather and fewer tourists. While one-week charters are most common around Crete, longer charters often provide better overall value and may include special discounts. Booking early is highly recommended to secure the best yachts at favorable prices. For those with flexible plans, last-minute deals can sometimes offer savings, though yacht availability may be limited.

When chartering a yacht in Crete, it’s important to include the 13% VAT applied to the base charter fee. Additionally, most charters require an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA), usually between 30% and 45%, which covers extra costs such as fuel, food and drinks, mooring fees, and other onboard services. Any unused APA is refunded after the trip, while any additional expenses incurred during the charter are billed separately, ensuring a smooth and personalized luxury experience cruising Crete’s beautiful coastline.
