Owning a Lazzara isn’t just about the yacht itself, it’s about joining a close-knit community that values uniqueness, timeless elegance, and top-tier quality in every vessel.

LAZZARA YACHTS HISTORY

Lazzara Yachts traces its roots to 1955, when Vince Lazzara, a Chicago chemical engineer, built the largest fiberglass yacht ever made for personal use. His success led him to found Columbia Yachts, which quickly became one of the world’s major fiberglass sailboat builders. After selling Columbia in the late 1960s, Vince moved to Florida and launched Gulfstar Yachts, known for quality sail and powerboats. In the 1970s and ’80s, he shifted toward diesel motor yachts with his sons Dick and Brad. Their 1992 Lazzara 76 and later the innovative LSX line cemented the family’s legacy in yacht design and customization.
