Ferretti Yachts for charter

About Ferretti Yachts

One of Italy's most prestigious yacht builders, Ferretti is recognized for its craftsmanship in luxury motor yachts that marry style with performance. Known above all for its sleek flybridge cruisers in the medium-to-large range (from 15 to 30 meters), the shipyard has developed a distinct language of design: streamlined profiles, refined interiors, and swift planing hulls. Each Ferretti yacht, whether new or pre-owned, conveys the essence of engineering elegance and technical aptitude. One of the hallmarks of the Ferretti brand is its innovative use of hull-side windows; in recent generations, the models feature some of the widest examples in the industry. The Ferretti name also anchors a broader constellation of prestige labels—among them Pershing, Riva, and Itama—cementing its reputation as a central force in contemporary yacht building.

Ferretti Yachts

FERRETTI HISTORY

Ferretti Yachts was the first brand in what later became the Ferretti Group. Its story began in 1968, when brothers Norberto and Alessandro Ferretti, still involved in the family’s luxury car business, turned their attention to boats. Three years later, they unveiled their first self-designed yacht, a 10-meter motorsailer, at the Genoa Boat Show. By 1975, they had become established yacht builders, shifting their focus toward motor yachts in response to growing demand. In 1982, they launched their first luxury motor yacht series. Ferretti Yachts is also known for its long collaboration with Studio Zuccon International Project, producing elegant, innovative flybridge motor yachts that embody Italian craftsmanship and appeal to a global market.

FERRETTI PHILOSOPHY

Ferretti’s philosophy rests on a simple, enduring idea: a yacht should carry the comfort of home, even as the horizon shifts. Not a showpiece, not a stage—rather a private refuge, defined by quiet details and spaces that invite both pause and movement. Interiors avoid excess. They lean on light, proportion, and textures that age well. Outside, the lines are drawn to meet the sea without interruption. The aim is never to effect fashion but to retain a beauty beyond circumstances, whilst resisting temporariness. To be on board, is to wake each morning to a new landscape, to experience time differently—slower, more intentional. Each yacht holds the imprint of her owner, satisfying personal desires, but never at risk of safety or isolation. Ferretti’s philosophy is less about arrival than about the rhythm of the journey itself.
