AMARYLLIS is a very beautiful superyacht with a well-balanced profile and five guest decks rising from her dark blue hull. And she’s just as lovely on the inside, taking decorative inspiration from Art Deco, Nouveau and the Belle Epoque. No expense has been spared in creating what is in effect a floating work of art – exquisite bespoke Silverlining furniture has been hand crafted to perfection – the master suite’s solid walnut desk is a masterpiece. Every cabin and lounge has been thoughtfully and meticulously designed to create a colourful, light and elegant atmosphere that is welcoming and relaxed. Of course a yacht of this size offers great benefits: the guest cabins are unusually large and the master suite occupies the front half of the upper deck, with a stunning carved walnut bed to complement the desk. It also means there is space for three guest lounges, a convivial main saloon, airy sky lounge with 103” TV and glamorous piano lounge with crystal illuminated columns. Dining options abound: outside high on the bridge deck, inside in the formal saloon with glowing inset onyx panels. But the real show-stopper is the circular dining table right aft on the upper deck, within a circle of windows – that has the most magnificent chandelier. It’s hard to choose between the outstanding deck spaces, but the sun deck does have a 5m by 2m Jacuzzi pool and the beach club has two fold-down swim platforms. Further inside there is a fantastic Asian-style spa area, complete with sauna, steam room, plunge pool as well as a massage area and gym. This would be the perfect place to unwind after an afternoon spent enjoying the watertoys – there’s a huge water slide and waverunner and as AMARYLLIS is a PADI training centre you could even learn to explore below the waves.
