Riva Yachts for charter

About Riva Yachts

Riva Yachts — one of the world’s oldest and most iconic shipyards — is renowned for luxurious motor yachts that range from sleek open models to fully custom superyachts in fiberglass, aluminum or steel. Each yacht blends tradition with innovation, uniting technical excellence with aesthetic perfection. Production is spread across three shipyards. The historic Sarnico facility on Lake Iseo — the brand’s beating heart — builds smaller open, sportfly, and flybridge yachts. In La Spezia, larger fiberglass models like the Dolcevita and Corsaro are produced. Meanwhile, the Superyacht Yard in Ancona constructs fully custom steel and aluminum flagships over 50 meters. Now part of the Ferretti Group, Riva embodies Italian style through refined design, premium materials, and impeccable craftsmanship.

Riva Yachts

RIVA YACHTS HISTORY

Riva Yachts has an incredible 180-year history. Founded in 1842 by Pietro Riva in Sarnico on Lake Iseo, the shipyard began by crafting small wooden boats and fishing vessels. Pietro’s son, Ernesto, modernized production in the early 20th century, laying the foundation for the yard’s reputation for quality and innovation. Riva's golden age came along in the 1950s and 1960s, when Carlo Riva turned the boat-building yard into an international symbol of luxury. His most famous vessel, the Aquarama, became synonymous with the glamour of the "Dolce Vita" and a favorite among aristocrats, celebrities, and world leaders alike. The sleek wooden runabouts of this period remain some of the most celebrated boats ever built. In 2000, Riva joined the Ferretti Group, gaining global reach while preserving its Italian heritage. Today, Riva continues to blend tradition and innovation, creating yachts that embody classic charm and prestige.
