MOONEN YACHTS HISTORY
Moonen Yachts, founded in 1963 in the Netherlands by sailor and entrepreneur Willem Moonen, is a distinguished Dutch shipyard known for crafting bespoke luxury yachts. Based in 's-Hertogenbosch, it started with smaller commercial and leisure vessels before shifting to high-end yachting. By the 1980s, Moonen had established a reputation for semi-custom and fully custom yachts ranging from 20 to 40 meters. Celebrated for Dutch craftsmanship, innovative engineering, and timeless design, the yard produces “pocket superyachts” delivering the elegance and performance of larger vessels. Since 2019, Moonen emphasizes sustainable, efficient yacht design.
