About Heesen Yachts
Heesen Yachts — a Dutch superyacht builder — is renowned for crafting high-performance, luxury yachts in aluminum and steel, combining speed, efficiency, and top-quality craftsmanship. Founded in 1978 by Frans Heesen, it was the first Dutch shipyard to build yachts in aluminum, pioneering this construction method. Since that time, Heesen has built a line of steel displacement yachts that also utilize their innovative Fast Displacement Hull Form (FDHF). The shipyard builds both semi-custom and fully custom size yachts from 49 to 80 meters, promoting bespoke, technologically advanced and fully engineered designs.

HEESEN YACHTS HISTORY
Heesen Yachts, founded in 1978 by Frans Heesen in Oss, was the first Dutch yard to build aluminum yachts when it launched its first 20-meter yacht AMIGO in 1979. The 1988 model OCTOPUSSY broke records for speed, solidifying Heesen's place in the high-performance superyacht category. Heesen expanded into long-range luxury yachts with the steel displacement ACHIEVER launched in 1992. Today, all Heesen yachts are designed and built completely in-house at the state-of-the-art yard in Oss, employing both skilled craftsmanship and the latest technology. Well-known models such as Galactica Star, Satori, and Cosmos are defined by their blend of innovation, speed, and luxury. In 2025, Dutch entrepreneur Laurens Last acquired the company, ushering in a new chapter in its history.

Smart Custom

Full Custom
