Cheoy Lee Yachts

About Cheoy Lee Yachts

Cheoy Lee Shipyards is a family-owned shipyard founded in the 1870s and has a proud history of over 150 years in the shipbuilding industry. The shipyard originally built commercial vessels, first from wood, then steel, and most recently fiberglass. It embraced fiberglass boatbuilding in the 1960s and moved into the recreational yacht and superyacht sector. Today, it operates state-of-the-art facilities employing technologies such as CNC cutters and vacuum-bagging techniques. Cheoy Lee delivers custom superyachts under its own brand and series-built models under the CL Yachts brand. Bridging traditional and modern eras of boatbuilding, it produces custom vessels up to 52 meters in length and is recognized worldwide in both yacht and commercial shipping markets.
