BILGIN YACHTS HISTORY

Bilgin Yachts, based in Istanbul, carries nearly a century of yacht-building legacy. Since 1929, the family-run shipyard has grown from local craft on the Bosphorus to international acclaim. Officially founded by Bilgin Şengün and Mustafa Şengün as Osis Tekne in the 1950s and rebranded Bilgin in 2014, the company combines tradition with innovation. Its global footprint expanded from 2002 onward, with projects across Russia, Greece, France, the UK, Egypt, and the United States. Signature vessels, like  the 46.8m. Bilgin 155 “GIAOLO-LU” and the 48m. NERISSA, have earned recognition at the World Superyacht Awards. Under the guidance of Ismail and Mehmet Bilgin, the shipyard crafts custom yachts that seamlessly blend meticulous craftsmanship, innovative design, and extensive naval knowledge.

BILGIN YACHTS PHILOSOPHY

Bilgin Yachts operates on a foundation of enduring values. Integrity is non-negotiable: each yacht is more than a vessel—it marks a long-time journey, and openness with clients, staff, and suppliers is essential. Respect is a part of craftsmanship that they inherited from older generations. Environmental responsibility is not an afterthought but woven into every stage of production, proving that luxury and sustainability can coexist. The result is yachts that carry integrity, skill, and care—a brand grounded in tradition, personal connection, and forward thinking. For owners and charterers alike, Bilgin Yachts delivers more than design and performance; it promises a sense of trust, thoughtfulness, and excellence that endures.
