Cost of Yacht Charters in Turkey

Yacht charter rates in Turkey can vary depending on several factors, including the type of yacht, charter duration, and time of year. The peak summer months — particularly July and August — tend to be the most expensive due to high demand, while the shoulder seasons of spring (April - May) and autumn (September - October) offer more affordable options. Although week-long charters are common, booking a longer charter can often provide better value with potential discounts. To secure the best yacht options, it’s advisable to book well in advance, as this increases the likelihood of finding a high-quality yacht and gives more room for negotiating rates. For those who are flexible with their travel dates, last-minute bookings may also provide significant savings, though the selection of available yachts may be more limited.

When budgeting for a yacht charter in Turkey, it’s important to keep in mind that VAT will be added to the base price. The VAT rate in Turkey is 20%. In addition, most yacht charters require an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA), typically ranging from 30-35%. This amount covers extra costs such as fuel, food, beverages, docking fees, and other onboard expenses. Any unused portion of the APA will be refunded, while additional charges incurred during the trip will be billed separately. This system ensures that guests enjoy a tailored and smooth charter experience.
